These texts contain variant readings at the end of some verses.
These must be removed if you want a sufficiently raw text to search for codes.
The 'makeraw' command will do this, and will also get rid of the parens, the
colons after each line, the verse numbers, etc.
	The command

		sed 's/)[^\(]*(//g' < input > output

will also work to remove the variant readings.
